Meet the Coaches

Silvia Fontana Zimmerman

Silvia is a former figure skater who represented Italy twice at the Winter Olympics.

Silvia began skating at age four. She began representing Italy in the 1993-94 season international competition. During her career, she won five national titles. She finished as high as 7th at the European Championships and 8th at Worlds. She finished 10th at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

John Zimmerman

American professional pair skater and coach. With skating partner Kyoko Ina, he is the 2002 World bronze medalist and a three-time U.S. national champion. They also competed at the 2002 Olympics.

He has coached skaters at national, international and Olympic events.

Lisa Healy

Lisa was a South Atlantic Regional competitor and medalist in both singles and ice dancing and trained with World and Olympic coaches such as Donald Laws, Carol Fox, Bill Fauver and David & Rita Lowery.

She has over 26 years of coaching experience for freestyle, MIF, synchro and dance teams and has coached skaters at multiple sectional competitions. She holds PSA ratings in freestyle, dance, team and groups and is a member of USFS and PSA.

Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Sport Coaching and a B.A. in Psychology as well as a Florida teaching certificate for K-6, Gifted Education and ESOL.
